The City Goat

The City Goat is a hand-made cheese made from fresh goat milk, made by Zingerman’s Creamery based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, US. The milk is pasteurized at a low temperature that helps to ratain its typical goaty flavour. A round shaped cheese is light and airy when fresh and firm, crumbly when aged. It has mild and sweet taste with very little hint of tanginess. The cheese can be used as an appetizer. It also goes well with roasted red pepper, pesto, honey or toasted almonds.
