Menonita cheese, known as Queso Menonita in Chihuahua and neighbouring states of Northern Mexico, or Queso Chihuahua in other parts of the country, is a traditional cheese made by Mennonite communities. This soft white cheese is produced from either pasteurized or raw cow's milk, using time-honoured techniques passed down through generations. With a typically semi-soft texture and a mild flavour, the cheese's consistency ranges from creamy to firm, depending on the ageing process.

Due to its excellent melting properties, this cheese is used in various dishes including baking dishes, fondues, pizzas, and lasagnas.
