Sartori Reserve Extra Aged Fontina

Extra-Aged Fontina, is one of a kind Sartori cheese, which allows a peppery young Fontina to age for 6-10 months, three times longer than normal. Aging gives the cheese a rich, deep, creamy fruitiness and a mildly lactic scent. The taste is milky, buttery and rounded, neither too sharp or salty. This artisan cheese tastes delicious with red grapes, olives, whole grain crackers and whole grain bread. Accompany the cheese with wines such as Chianti, Asti Spumanti, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot Or Sherry to bring out its inherent flavour.
