A mixture of cow and buffalo milk is used to make the cheese, which is aged for 30 to 40 days in humid caves that helps the cheese to maintain a soft, silky texture. The fig leaves impart a gentle herbaceous aroma on the finish.
It is delicious, sweet in taste with a hint of tartness.

This cylindrical shaped cheese can be eaten with fresh peaches or served with a little black pepper.
