Golden Cenarth

Golden Cenarth is somewhere between an Epoisses and a Vacherin Mont D’Or, and can be baked in much the same way as the latter to make a fantastic starter for two.

It is washed in cider to produce quite a mild taste when young but develops a stronger pungency with maturity.

Golden Cenarth won Supreme Champion at the British Cheese Awards in both 2020 and 2016.
