» Chevrotin des Aravis «
This goat's-milk cheese is made in the Chaīne des Aravis in Savoie. It has got a moist, yellowish-orange rind, stained with white mould. The pāte is rounded, mild, fine-textured and melting at the edges. Maturing process takes from three to six weeks. The taste is nutty and quite savory.
