Cheese Description:
»  Chabichou du Poitou  «

Poitou is the most important goat-breeding region in France and produces many goat's-milk cheeses. This is a cylinder-shaped cheese with a bluish-gray mould that overlays the thin, white mould when mature. The cheese has a delicate and slightly sweet, nutty flavor with little salt and a faint of acidity. Soft, even textured pāte becomes hard and brittle when the cheese matures.
