Sveciaost is a semi-hard cheese that comes from the lowlands of Sweden. It is made from pasteurised cow's milk. The texture is creamy and supple. The flavour is slightly acidic. The maturation process can be from anywhere between 3 months to a year. This cheese can be eaten at various stages of it's ripening, depending on one's preference for a milder or stronger cheese.
