Manur or Mandur is a traditional cheese that comes from Serbia. According to its texture, it ranks among hard cheeses and is made from sheep's or cow's milk, depending on the season. Milk is heated untill it boils and then a mixture of buttermilk, fresh whey and rennet is added. The maturation period is just few days and the fat content is 40%.
