Monte Veronese comes from Lessini Mountains in the northern part of the Province of Verona. It is made from fresh full-cream cow’s milk. This Italian typical cheese is only one cheese of whole cow's milk. It is straw-coloured, semi-cooked, intense flavour semi-hard cheese. This cheese is made in two types one is fresh which is sweet with intense flavour and other one is matured. This handcrafted cheese is aged for 12 months that makes it sweet, rich and fruity under skilled artisan. It is a table cheese and best served with polenta. It can be consumed with bread or just by grating or slicing.
